Overview:
Administrative support position that works with the administrative team, students and families to promote development and supervision of high school, college and career guidance to students. The goal of the counseling department is to provide academic, social, emotional and spiritual guidance to help prepare students to become life-long disciples of Christ and pursue the Lord’s purpose for their lives.  The position may include some teaching duties.

Qualifications:

• Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in counseling or related field; Master’s Degree and related experience preferred

• Possess 3-5 years of experience in education/counseling
   
• Possess knowledge of master scheduling and college and career advisement

Responsibilities:

• Create meaningful relationships with students and families, with the goal of child development at the forefront
   
• Assist administrators in the operation of the academic program
   
• Provide guidance and support for student scheduling, academic progress and graduation requirements
   
• Assist students and families with college and career planning
   
• Oversee test administration - PSAT/ACT/SAT
   
• Oversee Dual Enrollment program
   
• Provide mental, emotional and spiritual mentoring and connection to professional support services
   
• Plan and supervise senior activities
   
• Assist with student support services
   

Overview of Position: Middle School English

Middle school English teachers will teach 4-5 instructional periods of English that are no more than two different preparations. The middle school English curriculum consists of reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and spelling. Middle School teachers are often also asked to teach a Bible class.

• possess 3-5 years of experience in the classroom

Responsibilities:

• Model Christlike attitudes and behaviors for students and families including faith, love, repentance, and high personal standards of spiritual growth
• Create meaningful relationships with students and families, with the goal of child development at the forefront
• Deliver the materials that align with course objectives and curriculum guides
• Submit weekly lesson plans so parents and students have a clear understanding of regular expectations
• Incorporate a variety of instructional methods to strive to engage all students and meet the academic, spiritual, and emotional needs of students
• Provide regular formative and summative assessments and record graded assignments promptly
• Create and maintain a classroom culture and environment conducive to creative learning

REACH Teacher - Student Support Services

Overview:
Support teaching position, in which the teacher will be responsible to support students with disabilities in both pull-out and push-in models. Subjects include:  Math, Reading, Language Arts, Spelling, Social Studies, Science and Bible.  Lesson planning will occur in collaboration with the lead teacher for each grade level.

Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in early childhood, elementary education, middle grades education (state certification preferred)

Have a passion to help students learn and grow
possess 3-5 years of experience in the classroom

Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of elementary aged students with learning disabilities
Develop and implement Individualized Learning Plans
Provide appropriate testing accommodations as outlined in the ILP
Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement instructional accommodations
Lead small groups
Document progress monitoring
Communicate with parents/guardians to encourage student success
Incorporate a variety of instructional methods to strive to engage all students and meet the academic, spiritual and emotional needs of students
Create and maintain a classroom culture and environment conducive to creative learning
